Montana de Oro Camping Trip

So Michele and I took off to the coast about a week ago just to get out of Fresno for a little while. We didn’t decide where we were going until we actually got to the coast, haha. We had a bed, BBQ, drinks and our bikes so we were just wingin’ it. We ended up in Montana de Oro State Park in Los Osos, just south of Morrow Bay. It turned out to be a GREAT place! The camp site was clean and spacious with a small secluded beach maybe 500 ft walking distance and tons of hiking and biking trails! …definitely recommended if you get a chance to go. Here are a few pics from Michele’s new camera I got her for Christmas that we took along for the ride. The 5D got the weekend off; we missed each other though :(

I'm pretty good at the "10s timer, press the shutter, run behind the camera, smile, and then check the composition" pictures don't you think? haha

Beautiful Sunrise

...and Sunset!

WHAAT!! There was a little baby rock inside the mommy rock. How the heck did that get inside there? A rock inside a rock? ...and they were different types of rocks! Blew my mind :)

Probably one of the best kite flyers on the West Coast.

Bad Ass bikers!

Robert and Bessalee

I have known Bessalee since High School and when she told me that her boyfriend Robert was headed to Afghanistan, I jumped at the chance to take some pictures of them before he left. They were great to work with and overall the shoot was a blast! Great looking couple, perfect day, great setting and I couldn’t ask for more. I have been looking forward to this shoot since the day we booked and glad to finally see some results. I wish them all the luck in the world and hope that Robert returns safely from serving our country so we can continue to do what we do back here at home. Thank you for what you do is an understatement but… Thank You and hope to see you soon!

Whitney

So I have probably been to the muddiest place I have ever shot before but it was totally worth it. I had a total blast shooting with Whitney and the location turned out to be AWESOME! The sunset was perfect; just check it out for yourself. Thanks again Whitney, hope you had a good time and a lot of fun. There was a lawnmower in the house… just in case the grass gets too tall in the living room I guess, haha. Ok I’ll stop blabbering and here’s a few of my fav’s, Enjoy!

e-session: Sarah and Scott

I got the chance to shoot an engagement in the snow, YAY!! It threw me off a little when it actually started to snow on my equipment :-( but luckily after about a half hour it held off just long enough for us to get some great shots. Sarah and Scott were awesome through it all and kept their smiles on the whole time. Here are just a few of my favorite pics that I thought I might share. Enjoy!
